What will the apprentice be doing?
Towers & Gornall are looking for a hard-working individual who is well presented, has excellent communication skills and can learn at a fast pace.
We are offering valuable on the job training in addition to formal college training as part of the ACCA training contract.
Responsibilities will include:
- Training towards ACCA qualification
- Processing books and records in order to prepare VAT returns, end of year accounts/monthly management accounts for multiple clients
- Completing and submitting Tax returns (corporation and self-assessment)
- Assisting account seniors
- Processing books and records in order to prepare VAT returns, end of year accounts/monthly management accounts for multiple clients

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Assistant Accountant Level 3 apprenticeship standard.
ACCA Certificate in Accounting which contains:
- Bookkeeping transactions
- Bookkeeping controls
- Elements of costing
- Using accounting software
- Work effectively in finance
On and off the job training and location of this training to be confirmed.
