Your job will include regular posting of information to accounting journals/software and reconciling accounts to ensure their accuracy.

What will the apprentice be doing?
Your job role will include the following:
- Record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process
- Process accounts receivable and payable
- Work with an accountant when necessary
- Gain experience with accounting software such as FreeAgent, Xero, Sage or Quickbooks
- Gain excellent knowledge of general accounting
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Attention to detail and accuracy of work
- Prepare and submit VAT returns for a wide range of sectors, eg: Hotel & Leisure,
- Agriculture, Medical, etc.
- Ability to work to and meet monthly deadlines
- Work in an ethical and professional manner
- IT literate Competent user of Microsoft Word and Excel is essential

Advanced Diploma in Accounting Level 3 which contains:
- Advanced bookkeeping
- Final accounts preparation
- Management accounting: costing
- Indirect tax
