What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Laying Brickwork & Blockwork
  • Installing lintels
  • Coring & tie holes
  • Snagging the building as the scaffolding is struck
  • Jet washing.
  • General labouring cleaning tidying loading out materials
  • Attending all toolbox talks and health and safety talks
  • Reading the RAMS before starting work on every new project.

Training Provider: Bromlet College of Further and Higher Education. 

On programme Training:

  • Level 2 Bricklayer Apprenticeship Standard
  • Level 1 Functional Skills in maths and English, if required
  • Institute of Apprenticeship Certificate

End-Point Assessment (EPA)

  • Skills Test.
