What will the apprentice be doing?
‘Hands-on’ duties include:
- Processing incoming deliveries which come in all shapes and sizes and consist of a wide range of products
- Preparing/packing customer orders for despatch and accepting supplier stock deliveries, both of which come in all shapes and sizes and consist of a wide range of products
- Operating our courier’s websites and producing shipping labels for outgoing shipments
Administration duties include:
- Maintaining both our stock and returns databases by carrying out regular stock takes, accurately making necessary adjustments and corresponding with our suppliers to rectify delivery/returns discrepancies
- Assisting management with all administrative duties when required
- Answering calls
- Responding to emails
- Use of the website and processing orders
- Liaising with customers
- Assisting management when required
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Level 3 Business Administrator standard, which includes:
- Modules covering skills, knowledge and behaviours in business
- You'll have a personal tutor to guide you through your training
- You will attend 1:1 sessions with your tutor every 2/3 weeks
- End Point Assessment (online)
- Occasional group classes with other learners
- Functional Skills Level 2 in maths & English if required
- Business Administrator Certificate from IFATE and City & Guilds
