What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Greeting and serving customers

  • Taking in carpet stock deliveries
  • Measuring carpets for customer and arranging delivery/dispatch

  • Maintaining shop appearance

Things to consider

the right candidate must be physically fit as the role involves taking receipt of cut length carpets, underlay and rolls of carpet that have to be racked up. There is a lot of day to day manual handling as part of this role and standing for long periods of time.
