What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Plan and evaluate daily activities and ensure all evidence is recorded to extend the child’s learning
  • Interact with children in an age-appropriate manner
  • Create Fun learning environments both indoors and outdoors

  • Feedback to Parents in a professional and consistent manner
  • Ensure you adhere to all Policies, Procedures and Legislations within your environment

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Level 2 Early Years Practitioner Apprenticeship Standard which includes Functional Skills in both maths & English (if required).*

All training to be delivered within the workplace, you will be allocated 6 hours out of your paid working week to complete coursework/training, attend assessor meetings etc.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

  • Progression is available to a potential permanent role upon completion of Level 2 Early Years Apprenticeship
