What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Provide support to the Oulton Broad Yacht Station team 
  • Provide excellent customer service face to face, via email and telephone
  • Use radio communication with boat users, the public and colleagues
  • Collect mooring fees 
  • Update accounting records 
  • Assist with co-ordinating the safe passage of vessels 
  • Maintain the yacht centre 
  • Assist with the day to day running of the Mutford Lock and Bridge 

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

  • Customer Service Level 3 Qualification 
  • You will have have all training in the workplace delivered by qualified coaches who will visit you every 4-6 weeks 
    20% off the job training will be provided by the employer 
  • English and maths fuctional skills level 2 if required 

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Potential full time employment with the company after successful completion of apprenticeship .
