What will the apprentice be doing?

  • You will assist to deliver clients marketing strategies across the full digital portfolio including website, social media and broadcast email
  • Manage, implement, monitor organic social media campaigns - broadcast and responsive for events, client portfolio and KAT Marketing
  • Manage, implement, monitor social media ad campaigns
  • Maintain and update the clients and event websites to ensure that all content is fresh, relevant and engaging
  • Responsible for producing and distributing email newsletters on behalf of our client portfolio
  • Day to day responsibility for our own CRM system
  • Identify 3rd party online advertising and promotional opportunities, monitoring their success and ROI
  • Work with the marketing and commercial team to ensure that all sponsorship and charity partners' rights are activated in a timely manner
  • Track, monitor and create timely reports that include analysis and tracking across the digital portfolio
  • Monitor client’s competitors, social media, websites and email newsletters and keep on file best practice
  • Researching day to day content for all social media channels
  • Creating, writing and programming various social media posts across multiple platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn)
  • Conversing with team members, suppliers and clients both in the spoken and written word, using the systems in place, offering continuity of care to KAT Marketing’ Customers
  • Assisting with maintaining and updating websites to ensure that all content is fresh, relevant and engaging
  • Supported SEO landing page writing and blog writing
  • Assisted in producing and distributing email newsletters on behalf of our client's portfolio
  • Track, monitor and create timely reports that include analysis and tracking across the digital portfolio
  • Monitor client’s competitor platforms
  • Assisting at KAT Marketing and client events as required

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

  • The apprentice will be working towards the Digital Marketer Level 3 apprenticeship standard
  • All delivered within the workplace via online training and at Colchester Institute Campus
  • Qualifications include Google Analytics IQ, Principles of Coding, and Principles of Online and Offline Marketing

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

  • Remain at the company for promotion within the growing digital arm or crossover to other elements of marketing within the company
