    All workwear including all Personal Protective Equipment will be provided. Company van may be provided after completion of apprenticeship.

    Monday to Friday 08:00 to 16:00. Occasional weekends. This is to include one day per week for day release at the training centre in Chippenham.

What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Installing copper and fibre components. Carry out maintenance tasks and identify, locate and email common faults.
  • Carry out testing on copper and fibre cabling.
  • Analyse copper and fibre test results and provide certification to the customer.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Network Cable Installer qualification level 3.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

A permanent position as a Network Cable Installer.

The offer of extra courses, i.e, Fibre Optics Installation: cable preparation, fusion splicing and testing on single mode and multi mode fibres.
