What will the apprentice be doing?
Working with over 30 schools our services include PE lessons, before and after school clubs, lunchtime clubs and holiday activity clubs. Supporting Kidz Zone Club and partnership programme The Future Games, you will benefit from an exciting opportunity to gain valuable experience delivering over 20 activities working mainly with children from ages 4 - 12.
During the term time you will be based at one school from 12.00pm - 5.30pm delivering a lunchtime sports club, assisting the teachers with PE in the afternoon, and delivering after school activity clubs.
During the school holidays you will work at a sports camp coaching a variety of different sports and activities.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
- Level 3 Community Sport & Health Officer
- Level 2 NGB
- Bi weekly face to face tutorials at the school, with practical workplace observations
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Full time employment as Club Coach, PE and sports coach with ourselves, a school directly, further education, community based organisation.
