At Wabtec Doncaster we are looking for candidates who want to gain experience in a multidiscipline role, who want to progress through the roles and ranks while gaining qualifications and experience as they go, the candidate will be mentored by an experienced project manager and surrounded with a wealth of experience in the local project teams. You will support the project team by monitoring and reporting progress, make sure timelines and budgets are adhered to, analysing risk creating mitigation plans controlling and reporting on cost.

What will the apprentice be doing?

The duties and responsibilities of this role will include:

  • Working to high quality standards
  • Familiarisation with the company’s systems and procedures
  • General administrative duties
  • Supporting the project team with administration
  • Liaising between operations project and supply chain
  • Support on customer meetings and calls
  • Data input, data review, and data analysis
  • Cost control analysis
  • Producing action trackers
  • Supporting internal meetings providing input and a customer view

Adherence to Company Health & Safety Policy and safety regulations is essential.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Training will be at Doncaster College where you will access a wide range of facilities on offer.

You must be able to travel to and from work and college. Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that's part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).
