About the employer

Footsteps first opened in Bromham, in 2001 as Footsteps Pre-School. We (Sarah and Sally, Footsteps owners, and managers) were friends and professional Nursery Nurses as well as being parents of small children. With the closure of a preschool in Bromham we saw the chance to open our own establishment, offering the quality of child care we wanted for our own children but were unable to find. We first opened Footsteps in the guide hall in Bromham, in 2001. It wasn’t our own space but with some amazing staff and a beautiful bluebell woods as part of the setting, we grew and grew. In 2010 we were given the opportunity to design, and move into our own purpose-built premises, expanding to add a baby room and becoming Footsteps Nursery. From the beginning we have used our training, working knowledge and personal experience of childcare to make Footsteps the best nursery for any child, and one we would, and have, sent our own children too. To our testament, we have been rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted since day one.
