What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Provide general support to the teacher in the care of pupils, and management of the classroom
  • Assist children in matters of personal need and their   general health including first aid and welfare matters
  • Undertake routine administrative tasks, e.g. pupil record keeping as requested
  • Encourage pupils to interact with other and engage in activities led by the teacher
  • Communicate effectively with parents in order to keep them up to date with their child’s progress
