What will the apprentice be doing?

Key Accountabilities:

As part of the Internal Sales team

  • Responding to customer enquiries via telephone and email
  • Generating quotations for existing customers
  • Creating new accounts and loading orders
  • Reviewing order progress to ensure successful completion

As part of the Quality function

  • Review accuracy of supplier paperwork
  • Entering product information into our ERP system

As part of the Operations function

  • Seek shipping quotations
  • Generate despatch notes
  • Release orders to Warehouse
  • Collate delivery packs and transmit them to customers
  • Create purchase orders and place orders with suppliers
  • Create sales invoices using our ERP system

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

  • The candidate will follow a Level 3 Apprenticeship programme and study towards a full Standard in Business Administration
  • This training will be structured and delivered by Cheshire College – South & West
  • If the candidate does not hold GCSE grades A*-C (9-4) or equivalent, they will be required to complete a Level 2 Functional Skills qualification in the relevant subjects

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

  • To secure a full-time role after completion of the apprenticeship
