What will the apprentice be doing?
Key Accountabilities:
As part of the Internal Sales team
- Responding to customer enquiries via telephone and email
- Generating quotations for existing customers
- Creating new accounts and loading orders
- Reviewing order progress to ensure successful completion
As part of the Quality function
- Review accuracy of supplier paperwork
- Entering product information into our ERP system
As part of the Operations function
- Seek shipping quotations
- Generate despatch notes
- Release orders to Warehouse
- Collate delivery packs and transmit them to customers
- Create purchase orders and place orders with suppliers
- Create sales invoices using our ERP system
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
- The candidate will follow a Level 3 Apprenticeship programme and study towards a full Standard in Business Administration
- This training will be structured and delivered by Cheshire College – South & West
- If the candidate does not hold GCSE grades A*-C (9-4) or equivalent, they will be required to complete a Level 2 Functional Skills qualification in the relevant subjects
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
- To secure a full-time role after completion of the apprenticeship
