What will the apprentice be doing?
Goldington Academy is a very successful secondary school in Bedford. The secondary school serves an established area to the north-east of Bedford town centre and currently has 900 students on roll. The school, which is very well resourced with interactive facilities in each teaching space and has been rated good by Ofsted.
Part of your role will include:
- Providing academic and emotional support and to assist with pupils with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)
- You will also be working closely with teaching staff to support pupils who are underachieving to enable them to maximise their full potentials
- You will engage students within their learning and promote positive behaviour in the classroom

- Level 3 Teaching Assistant
- Functional Skills in English and maths (if required)
