What will the apprentice be doing?
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Supporting with manufacture, wrapping and dispatch processes in the workshop
- Using the company postage systems to create postage labels, manifests and orders (training provided)
- Making and printing labels using Google Suite and Canva
- Creating instructions for projects that are going out in monthly kits
- Working with spreadsheets
- Putting systems in place
- Involved with logistics, website issues, general issue management
- Communicating with suppliers and B2B partners re orders and queries
- Performing administrative duties

You need to be able to work quickly and accurately, and be confident with the use of everyday IT. Training will be provided for the right candidate and you will have the benefit of working in a small, close knit team, where you can grow and learn new skills.
This is a workshop-based role, where you will be involved in everything from manufacture to dispatch. Each day will look different, and you will be willing to roll your sleeves up and do whatever is involved in getting orders out in a timely manner.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
The Apprentice will work towards their Apprenticeship Standard in Supply Chain Warehouse Operative Level 2.
The successful candidate will be assigned a dedicated work-based trainer who will provide support and guidance throughout the course. This is a work based programme which means that all of your learning will take place on the site of your employment and within your contracted working hours.
