What will the apprentice be doing?
To assist and develop the town planning, design and development consultancy skills and services of Andrew Martin – Planning including:
- Strategic planning and development plan promotion
- Regeneration
- Urban design and masterplanning
- Development planning and management
- Implementation
- Community involvement
- Graphic design
- Planning and evidence research and analysis
- Project management
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
MSc (Hons) Chartered Town Planner Degree Apprenticeship Standard:
Day release at ARU Chelmsford campus as follows:
- Trimester 1 (September to January)
- Trimester 2 (January to May).
- There will be a oneday induction in early to mid-September
Successful apprentices will also become Chartered Members of the Royal Town Planning Institute (MRTPI) and use the title Chartered Town Planner
