About the employer

AM-P was established in 2012, but with origins that go back 36 years to the forming of Andrew Martin Associates (AMA) in 1983. AMA was transformed through acquisition by a large multi-disciplinary organisation in 2009. The subsequent forming of AM-P was in response to both the desire to go back to basics and refocus on first principles; and to a market need for smaller regional consultancies offering a bespoke, personal service. Further to a pledge by the founder, Andrew Martin, to exit via a future employee take over, AM-P has now become an Employee Ownership Trust (EOT) company. We have refreshed our company branding to celebrate and symbolise the transition of AM-P to an EOT and to starting an exciting new chapter in the firm’s evolution. This transition has truly put the team at the heart of the business, reinforcing AM-P’s existing ethos and values. The team are champions of the business and continue to be committed to providing an exceptional service for which AM-P are renowned. The practice advises private and public sector clients in a variety of matters, including strategic site promotion, planning applications and planning appeals, by providing the highest standard of professional expertise and focusing on adding value to the real estate interests of its clients. Based at Town Mill, Stebbing, in the heart of Essex, the team has an outstanding and successful track record throughout the East of England, London and beyond. The team has over 35 years of experience in consultancy and includes chartered members of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) and Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). The practice is also registered with the Institute of Environmental Management & Assessment (IEMA) and holds the ‘EIA Quality Mark’.
