Business administrators have a highly transferable set of knowledge, skills and behaviours that can be applied in all sectors. Apprentices are required to have evidence of Level 2 Functional Skills in English and maths prior to undertaking End Point Assessment.
Apprentices will develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours through on and off-the-job learning and will complete ONLINE learning for 6 hours a week and then meet with an Eastleigh College lecturer once a fortnight to check your learning on a day release basis.
Apprentices will develop their skills in areas to include:
- Information Technology
- Record & document production
- Communication
- Planning & organising
- Decision making
- Quality
- Project Management
In addition to classroom learning, apprentices are welcome to join the college for any career events and guest speaker events.
End Point Assessment will include a portfolio of evidence, a completion of a project that you will complete for your employer and an interview. You will be guided by your tutor to help you prepare for all this.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
