About the employer

Chuckles Day Nursery has been opened for over 35 years and had originally been open to care for the children of teachers working at Budmouth, before opening up to the wider community. Chuckles has grown over the years and we are proud of the setting we have become, teaching and caring for many children over the years. At Chuckles the child is at the heart of what we do, we care for individual needs and can support children to learn and develop throughout their early years and prepare them for what lies ahead with 'big' school and beyond. With our location, we feed into many of the schools in the local area. Chuckles has 13 staff working with the nursery, with the years of service totaling over 170 years between us! Maria (Nursery Manager) has recently celebrated her 30 years of service with us.
