This is open – for the right candidate, we will consider paying in excess of the Apprenticeship minimum (£5.28p/h). Flexibility is required and at times overtime will be available and successful candidates will be expected to be flexible on this.

What will the apprentice be doing?
- Learning all aspects of Welding / Fabricating within a busy workplace
- In an average day, it will involve everything from prepping material, reading engineering drawings and large steel sections up to 20 meters in length
- Working as part of a team is paramount due to the nature of the business
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
- Plate Welder Level 3 Apprentice Standard
- Training will be on-site and also college based on a day-release basis
- Doncaster College
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
After being fully qualified at Global we like to reward and always offer opportunities for growth.
