What will the apprentice be doing?

* Non-destructive testing using various methods, such as Ultrasonic, Radiography, Eddy Current, Magnetic Particle, and Liquid Penetrant Inspection

* Detecting cracks and other imperfections in welds, manufactured components, including in-service components on aircraft, ships, submarines, bridges etc.

* Verbal communication with customers and suppliers.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

PCN Level 2 in at least 2 methods (Advanced Level 3 A Level)

Training on site with theory and examinations in Sheffield (fully expensed)

Block release in Sheffield and daily training in Bristol

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Future prospect includes permanent full-time position, completing PCN Level 2 in multiple NDT disciplines, company and personal performance-based pay rises subject to experience and qualifications.
