What will the apprentice be doing?

A great opportunity someone wanting to train in Nursery Nursing whether you are leaving School or wanting a change of career, we will support you and welcome you as part of our fun, loving team.

Your duties as an Apprentice Nursery Nurse will include:

  • Building positive relationships with the children, families, colleagues and internal/external professionalsEnsuring that each child's wellbeing is met and that they thrive in a safe environment
  • Safeguarding all children in our care
  • Observing, monitoring and engaging in children's play activities linked to the EYFS.
  • Activities will support children's language and literacy, art and design, numeracy and physical development
  • Keeping records on individual children, including daily observations and information about activities, meals served, and medications administered
  • Learning how to provide high quality childcare to our children
    Assisting in serving food to children, ensuring special dietary requirements are met

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

You can opt for Level 2 or 3 or + in Childcare - we can assist in helping you gain your Maths and English GCSE Pass too! 

 

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

To become a fully qualified Nursery Nurse Practictioner
