What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Learn practical skills and techniques to produce and install different types of bespoke furniture including kitchens and fitted furniture 
  • Learn how to operate power tools
  • Become a skilled trades person allowing you to install furniture

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

During your apprenticeship programme you will receive training both off and on the job to gain Furniture Manufacturing Standard Level 2. You will be required to attend WEBS Training on block release basis which is for a  week at a time five times per year, the rest of the time you will be within the work place. Training will be provided in all areas of Fitted Furniture to ensure you are capable of creating practical and bespoke projects.
