Universal Live are seeking a hardworking Level 5 Audio-Visual apprentice to join their team. The successful candidate will support with maintenance, installation of AV control systems and more. You will be working with structured cabling which includes pulling, terminating and testing all cable and wiring associated with audio/video cables. What will the apprentice be doing?
Universal AV Services:
- Rack building/pre-wire
- Install LED Screens, Video Walls and Flat Panel Displays, Projectors
- Installing AV Control systems, e.g. Crestron, Extron, VC
- Install audio equipment, speakers, microphones etc.
- Solder AV connectors, terminate shielded category cable
Universal Live:
- Assisting our technical team on events for onsite training
- Testing and preparing a range of technical equipment - AV / lighting / video / stage and set
- Delivering / Collecting equipment
- Rigging / De-rigging equipment on site
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- General maintenance of a wide range of technical equipment
- Assist with the yearly company stock take and PAT testing as necessary
- Day to Day warehouse maintenance
- Manage all storage space and areas
- Ensure equipment is safe and secure at all time
- Some evening and weekend work as and when required

- On and off the job training
- Day release at Middlesbrough College (Remote)
