What will the apprentice be doing?

  • The key aspects of work would be printing vinyl.
  • Cutting vinyl using a CNC vinyl cutter.
  • Operating a CNC router to manufacture 3D letters.
  • Processing cut vinyl application of cut and printed vinyl to panels and vehicles in order to create signs and graphics for a wide range of products including advertising, car graphics and many more.

  • Operating various sign making equipments
  • Large format printers
  • Lamination and finishing equipment
  • General sign related equipment
  • Vinyl plotters
  • Laminating
  • Trimming various substrates
  • Application of vinyl’s and Graphics to various substrates

There may also be opportunities to sometimes come out on installation jobs, carrying out on-site work, learning to use some tools.

All training to be delivered at the employer's premises.
