What will the apprentice be doing?

The role will support all aspects of customer focused marketing activities within the Essar Retail business operation that drives Company profits, with the added support, development and supervision from senior members of the Retail Team. You will contribute to the implementation of the Retail business plan and footprint across the UK.

Eg:

The broad purpose of the occupation is to support customer focussed marketing activities that drive the demand for a product or service through awareness raising and/or perception building to generate results to the bottom line. As part of the Marketing team the Marketing Assistant will contribute to the implementation of the Marketing strategy and plans. They will be responsible for delivering day-to-day marketing activities across a multitude of platforms, channels and systems that are essential to the Marketing function and activities of the company

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

The candidate will follow a Level 3 Apprenticeship programme and study towards a full Level 3 in Marketing. This training will be structured and delivered by Cheshire College - South & West. If the candidate does not hold GCSE grades A-C (9-4) or equivalent, they will be required to complete a Level 2 Functional Skill in the relevant subject.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Successful candidate will be expected to successfully complete a Company sponsored apprenticeship.
