Engineering Operative Apprentice RIO STAINLESS ENG LTD
We are looking for an apprentice to learn general engineering skills in order to become a qualified Engineering Operative. Work will involve general machine setting & loading and other duties. This person must have a good attention to detail, will be an enthusiastic and committed individual who is passionate about starting a career in engineering. Good level of maths and able to read and write clearly.

Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that's part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).
Monday To Friday 8am -4.30pm
Total hours per week: 37.5

- Goods In/Good Out
- Automatic Saw Work
- Colour Coding/Measuring/Weighing Out/Counting Out
- Computer Work
- General Machine Setting & Loading
- Fork Lift Truck Driving If/When Old Enough For Licence
- Driving If/When Old Enough For Company Van
- Marking Of Materials/Components
- Final Inspection
- Use Of Verniers/Micrometres/Shadow Graphs/Gauges
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Engineering Operative Level 2 and Functional Skills if required.
Diploma in engineering operations (skills) Level of qualification: 2
Certificate or Diploma in engineering operations (knowledge) Level of qualification: 2
