What will the apprentice be doing?
- Taking responsibility for day to day oversight of complaints handling inbox
- Filing emails to subfolders, creating email sub-folders, categorising client sub-folders throughout the day
- Sending complaint acknowledgements to clients
- Creating server folders and ensuring all documents are saved to the correct folder
- Ensuring each complaint is logged to the database for link purposes
- Moving server complaint folders through the stages
- Logging a complaint ref number to all complaints and log to the current manual spreadsheets
- Embracing and applying then new complaints process as it emerges
- Locating complaint folders and drafting complaint responses
- Answering emails, taking and making calls
- Collating monthly complaints handling figures
- Assisting the risk and compliance officer and complaints team on complaints
- Create and maintain diaries
- Attend complaint review meetings as necessary
- Engage in training
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
An apprenticeship allows you to earn a wage, gain valuable work experience and industry specific competence.
You will be expected to work towards the Business Administrator Level 3 Apprenticeship standard, with support from your employer and the Chesterfield College Group.
As part of your apprenticeship, and dependent on your prior attainment, you may be required to complete maths and English Functional Skills which is an integral part of your apprenticeship.
Upon successful completion you will be awarded additional certificates of recognition for these qualifications.
