About the employer

Established in 1954, company focus on suppling to the Aerospace, Defence, Marine and High Voltage Switchgear industries led to us attaining CAA and MOD approvals in 1957. Adapting to the MOD's decision in the early nineties to favour commercial quality management systems, the company soon gained the required ISO 9001 accredited certification. Our commitment to supporting the ever-increasing requirements of our customers resulted in the engagement of a team of highly experienced engineers to develop and manufacture a wide range of electric actuation products primarily for the aerospace industry. In 2003, to reflect the change in the core business the name of the company became known as NEMA (Nordale Electro-Mechanical Actuation). As the CAA approvals ceased the company achieved AS 9100 accreditation in response to our customer's requirements. NEMA currently holds AS9100 and BS EN ISO 9001 certification of our management system for all activities undertaken.
