What will the apprentice be doing?

The role of a medical receptionist/administrator is the face of the practice to patients and other visitors. we are looking for an apprentice who is friendly, presentable and willing to contribute as a team player to the smooth running of the practice.

Duties will include identifying patients' problems and bringing them to the attentions of the correct clinician, they will welcome patients and deal with incoming calls and emails and act upon them accordingly, booking appointments, act on tasks requested by other members of the practice team; process all telephone requests in a courteous, pleasant and professional manner; general administration, other duties as and when requested.

Business Admin level 3 Apprenticeship; training in the workplace provided by PMA Ltd.

You will have on the job training within the organisation and have an assigned assessor who will provide you with additional training sessions and assessments to gain the business administrator qualification.
