What will the apprentice be doing?
As a Business Administrator Apprentice, you will be expected to support in the following:
- Monitor stock levels and ensure that inventory is maintained to meet customer demand
- Perform regular stock counts and reconcile physical stock with computer records
- Receive and process incoming deliveries, ensuring that all items are accurately documented
- Prepare and process stock replenishment orders through MRP
- Maintain accurate and up to date records of stock movements
- Monitor stock levels to identify any discrepancies
- Liaise with other departments to ensure that stock levels are maintained
- Provide support to the team in any other tasks as required
- Actively support in lean activities
- Ensuring all resources and assets are used efficiently and correctly
- Attend training as required
- To follow the company’s procedures and policies including Quality, Health and Safety, Environmental, Equal Opportunities, IT and Security
- Attend meetings
- To ensure Personal Data is managed in compliance with company policy
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Business Administrator Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard:
- This apprenticeship is equivalent to an A-Level
- Training will take place both online and in person to meet the needs of the business and the apprentice
- If you do not already have your maths and English GCSE's then this will be achieved as part of your apprenticeship
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
- Progression opportunites to become a permanent member of the Van Guard Accessories team will be available for the right candidate
