What will the apprentice be doing?

You will have 4 days a week in the salon:

  • Welcoming clients into the salon from our front of house team
  • Shampooing and removing colour
  • Ensuring client comfort during their journey through the salon
  • Helping to keep the salon running smoothly by keeping on top of towel and gown laundry
  • Making beverages from our extensive drinks menu
  • Assisting stylists and technicians
  • Training sessions

You will have one day a week training at college. 

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Hair Professional level 2 standard. 

Your day release colllege training will be at Basingstoke Colllege of Technology (Bcot).

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

There would be an option to continue at college to attain the level 3 qualification, although we sometimes advise that gaining a years worth of experience between levels is advisable. Hairdressing can take you wherever you want to go with hard work and dedication.
