What will the apprentice be doing?

  • To provide Technical Support for the Department
  • Assist in procuring site investigations, including but not limited to topographical surveys, asbestos surveys, noise surveys etc.
  • Assist in reviewing Consultant and Sub-Contractor design drawings, details, schedules to produce tender and construction stage packages.
  • Assist in obtaining all MPAN, MPRN registrations, metering agreements and maintain records and data for communicating into the O&M File.
  • Assist in procuring all necessary information for the legal conveyance process, such as building control, warranties, conveyance plans, postal addresses etc.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

  • HNC Construction
  • London South Bank University
  • Training will be 1 day per week.

 

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

  • Progression to Technical Coordinator within the departmental structure
