We are looking for someone who wants to learn, has a good work ethic and can adjust to different work situations. Operating the systems and equipment involved in the production of products.

What will the apprentice be doing?
- Working as part of a skilled team, you will play a key part in delivering high levels of performance in a highly efficient and environmentally sustainable, state of the art paper production Mill
- With training from raw materials through to finished product you will develop the skills needed to operate, maintain and problem solve all aspects of the plant in a safe and timely manner
- You will spend time in different area of the paper mill learning key manufacturing skills and gaining experience in the paper manufacturing process, whilst learning the importance of Health & Safety, quality control and housekeeping
- You will also carry out daily work programmes as assigned by the shift manager working within a passionate and goal orientated team
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
- The apprenticeship will consist of a combination of block release at CATCH in Stallingborough and onsite with your employer
- You will complete the level 3 science manufacturing technician standard including the City & Guilds L3 0610 in Process Technology
- In addition to this you will also complete a Level 2 and Level 3 qualification in Papermaking
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
- Successful completion of the apprenticeship could lead to a higher-level apprenticeship or full-time employment for the right candidate
- You will have developed a variety of interchangeable skills and have an in depth understanding of the papermaking industry
