What will the apprentice be doing?
Fives Landis Limited is pleased to announce the following Apprenticeship opportunities.
The four-year apprenticeship will cover training on the manufacturing of components for our diverse range of grinding machines in the following Machine Shop departments:
- CNC Turning and Milling
- Heavy Machining
- Parts Inspection
Apprentices will complete 12 months of technical training at College, followed by three years of vocational training at Fives Landis.
Other training opportunities will also be available to support the apprenticeship training programme, including IOSH - Working Safely, Abrasive Wheels and Slinging and lifting.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
- Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship you will gain a Level 3 Machining Technician Apprenticeship Standard
- Apprentices will complete 12 months of technical training at College, followed by three years of vocational training at Fives Landis
- Fives Landis offers career prospects into other areas of the
business including: Manufacturing, Production and Design Engineer, Service Engineering and Inspection
