What will the apprentice be doing?
- First point of call for incoming telephone calls - Telephone to be answered in 2 rings in a professional manner. Call to be forwarded to the relevant person within the company or a message is to be taken and sent by email if the person is not available
- Incoming / Outgoing Post - Distribute incoming post - fold and send out post
- Sales order progressing - Up-to-date record of jobs to be actioned. Notes to be updated in ERP
- Data Entry and booking of Production Sheets
- Assisting with monitoring Department Performance
- Liaising with Purchasing
- Acknowledgements to Customer - After progressing send acknowledgements to the customer
- Filing - Jobs / POs / copy invoices / deliveries
- Hospitality - Company diary to be checked on a daily basis ie. board meetings etc for special requirements
- Visitor badges to be always supplied at the front desk. Visitors must sign in at all times
- Archiving
- General telephone enquiries
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
The training will be entirely done on the employer premises. The tuition will be combined with assessment which will prepare the apprentice for End Point Assessment. The qualification will be Business Administrator Standard Level 3.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
A permanent role post completion of the Apprenticeship.
