What will the apprentice be doing?

Duties include but not limited to:

  • To comply with all appropriate Health and Safety Regulations and advice
  • Respect Confidentiality at all times
  • To have good IT skills and working knowledge of the Microsoft office
  • To maintain and update purchase accounts and stock codes when required
  • The taking, accurately inputting of all Sales Orders
  • Maintain master specification and cost price list
  • The purchasing of factored items in line with specifications and master cost price list
  • To ensure the business receives the best value through the purchasing function
  • Processing of authorised company requisitions
  • To liaise with applicator companies to ensure that all deliveries meet their destination on time
  • Maintaining the office filing system
  • To ensure that you work within the requirements of the company’s EQMS
  • To adhere to the company’s health and safety rules
  • To respond to specific instructions / projects as given by the Customer Service Manager and Service Operations Manager
  • To deputise in the absence of the Customer Service Manager
  • To undertake other duties as required by the company to facilitate its smooth running
