What will the apprentice be doing?
As part of this apprenticeship, you will be:
- Tending to flowerbeds and borders.
- Hedge cutting.
- Learning how to do general garden maintenance.
- Taught the correct health and safety for your position.
- Dealing with a wide range of customers.
- Learning about plants that you will deal with, such as the plant development and the different kinds of plants commonly dealt with.
- Cultivating different soils.
- Planting flowers, trees and bushes.

Level 2 Horticulture and Landscape Operative Apprenticeship – Standard. The apprenticeship will be delivered in the workplace and on-site.
