What you will do in your working day
Tasks involve playing and engaging with children to promote their learning and development.
Working as part of a highly motivated and enthuthiastic team.
Building positive relationships with parents, children and colleagues.
Planning activities for children depending on their age and stage of development in line with EYFS.
Promoting health and safety and safeguarding of all children.
The training you will be getting
NCFE CACHE Level 2 Diploma for Early Years Practitioner qualification.
Training will take place with Scope Early Years at Phoenix House, 1 King Street, Leicester, LE1 6RN. Lessons will take place one day a week online with the assessor and occassional face-to-face sessions.
What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship
Progression can be to work in a variety of early years settings or to continue professional development by starting a level 3 apprenticeship in Early Years.
