What will the apprentice be doing?

Reporting to the Office Manager, this wide-ranging role will be supporting the Office Manager, Management Accountant and Managing Director across all administrative functions of the business, duties will include;

• Supporting the activities of the training business and monitoring debtors
• Assisting with group MI reporting.
• Collating and analysing data for invoicing and reporting
• Configuring rates and budgets for projects
• Managing expense submissions and logging
• Checking financial data on client correspondence.
• Collation of information required for payroll
• Manage internal and external purchase orders

The role will also support the central function with additional duties including: answering the phones, preparing meeting rooms, preparation, collation and review of reports, letters and documents, liaising with staff to ensure their records are up to date and ad hoc admin projects.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Assistant Accountant – Level 3

This Apprenticeship requires you to attend college 1-day week. You will be assessed through written work, verbal discussion, synoptic exams and observation throughout your training.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

To be able to offer the candidate permanent employment with TSS is our desired outcome and to progress onto further relevant qualifications.
