NMW for apprentices will be paid whilst in the Tipton Training Centre. During deployment to site the NAECI basic apprenticeship rates apply: 1st year onsite rate £7.40ph, 2nd year £9.58ph, 3rd year £12.41ph, 4th year £14.94ph

What will the apprentice be doing?
Off-the-Job – Completing both practical training in a real working environment and gaining underpinning knowledge through classroom activities in our training centre in Tipton
- Read and interpret drawings identifying pipe materials and fittings
- Prepare and assemble pipe spools
- Install pipe spools on a steel structure
On-the-Job – Working on an operational site in the UK alongside a qualified craft person applying the skills and knowledge gained in the training centre
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
An apprentice will work towards the completion of the ECITB Level 3 Diploma in Installing Engineering Construction Plant and Systems and Level 2 functional skills if required
Off-the-Job – Training will be carried out in our Tipton Training Centre in in the West Midlands (accommodation and travel paid)
On-the-Job – Working on site alongside a qualified craft person applying the skills and knowledge gained in the Training Centre
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
On the completion of the apprenticeship programme you will become a qualified Pipefitter based on one of our operational sites in the UK applying the skills and knowledge you have gained during your apprenticeship. If you wish to continue your development there will be opportunities to advance into a managerial role.
