What you will do in your working day
You will work at our business as an administration assistant, gaining your practical experience.
You will then attend college once a week to gain your apprenticeship qualification.
Tasks involved may include:
- Answering the phone
- Dealing with customer queries/orders
- Responding to queries via email
- Filing
- Manning reception
- Booking in swimming lessons in tutors diaries
- Going through all candidates that need to renew their lessons
- Helping stock the swimming shop
The training you will be getting
- Level 3 Diploma in Business and Administration
- Level 2 Functional Skills in English and maths
What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship
You can progress onto the higher level apprenticeships and work your way up to office manager level which would be a management role often with team leader status.
This qualification should give you transferable skills that will not limit you to one sector.
