What will the apprentice be doing?
You will also have the opportunity to develop your skills in a range of areas, including mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and software development. We will provide you with comprehensive training and support to help you succeed in your role.
- Visiting various projects to help review design aspects of the build
- Support the Vertical Transportation team with various duties
- Attend team meetings as well as external meetings
- You will be trained on the software to input information and review designs
There will be a lot of team work and support around you to ensure you develop your skills to eventually increase responsibility within your role.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
- You will obtain a Level 4 (HNC) Engineering qualification within the Building Services sector
- You will be training in Birmingham at a local university, you will have one days study leave and work the remaining four days.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
- Once the apprenticeship is complete you will have the opportunity to move on to a higher qualification (L5/6) if interested
- You will be promoted to a Consultant level and continue to increase your responsibilities and further progress your career
- There may also be opportunities to work on larger projects out of the UK
