What will the apprentice be doing?

This is a very varied role and no two days are the same – which is what makes coming into work so exciting!

You’ll be doing the following:

·         Learning how to analyse expenses and utilise cloud software to streamline processes

·         Learning how to carry out bookkeeping and management reporting

·         Assisting the team with HMRC compliance work

·         Creating accounts and tax returns for sole traders and limited companies

·         Checking and filing VAT returns and learning about payroll

·         Learning how to carry out bookkeeping and management reporting

·         Getting certified in cloud systems such as Xero and Dext

You will be guided by experts to ensure you get maximum value from your apprenticeship with view to rapidly progressing your career.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

The successful candidate will be required to attend weekday courses, once a week, at First Intuition Chelmsford to study towards their Level 7 ACCA/ICAEW qualification as well as mentoring towards the level 7  apprenticeship knowledge, skills, and behaviours.

Things to consider

Applicant will need to travel to First Intuition in Chelmsford for ACCA/ICAEW courses, therefore must be able to travel to Chelmsford and Braintree.
