What will the apprentice be doing?
The successful candidates will join the DCL Academy created specifically to deliver apprenticeship schemes. Full training will be provided to undertake daily work tasks, examples of which are listed below:
- Administration of Motor Fleet quotations.
- Logging risk presentations.
- Issuing quotations.
- Liaising with Brokers and Underwriters.
- Preparing new business documentation.
- Administering the underwriting diary system.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
You will work towards your:
- Insurance Practitioner Level 3 Apprenticeship.
- Certificate in Insurance (Cert CII).
- Level 2 Functional Skills in English and Maths (if required).
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Upon completion of the apprenticeship, Direct Commercial will be looking to keep the apprentice full time as an underwriting assistant.
