We offer a full range of high quality hairdressing and advanced beauty treatments and use and retail Sassoon Professional hair products, Guinot skincare products and CACI skincare products. We are looking for creative minded individuals to join our team with a view to enjoying a long term rewarding career with us once they have achieved their hairdressing qualification.

What will the apprentice be doing?
- Greeting clients
- Shampooing clients and advising clients regarding products once knowledge has been acquired
- Preparing refreshments for clients and ensuring clients are comfortable and have everything they need - Assisting the hairdressers wherever possible
- General cleaning of the salon
- Learning about the hairdressing products we use
- Reception duties including booking appointments and taking telephone calls
- Carrying out basic hairdressing services under the supervision of the owner as and when skills have been acquired
The day to day contact within the organisation will be the owner of the salon, Lawrence. The apprenticeship role within our team is a very important one and serves as the first step towards becoming a fully qualified hairdresser.
The person performing the role should be well presented and able to converse with clients in a friendly but professional manner to ensure they feel welcome and enjoy their time with us.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
- The learner will be studying the Hair Professional Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard qualification
- Day release to West Suffolk College
- Functional skills will be studied if equivalent qualifications are not held
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
- Once the apprenticeship has been completed, we offer a full time employed hairdressing career with us which could lead to management opportunities in the future
