What will the apprentice be doing?

  • To undertake a formal apprenticeship within the Crane environment and undertake structured work base training, attending designated college and industrial based training courses.
  • To complete all necessary NVQ qualifications and additional peripheral but relevent qualifications necessary for competence to work.
  • Support the team ethos by actively engaging in new challanges with a can do attitude .
  • Drives customer satisfaction by following guidlines in relation to the Company quality assurance manual. 

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

You will be working towards a Level 3 NVQ Qualification in Plant based engineering.

Training will be undertaken at Stafford College in 2 or 3 week blocks, and on the job training with Liebherr.

Accomodation and expenses are covered by the Company.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Once qualified there is a view to a long term career with Liebherr Great Britain as a Service Engineer.
