A vacancy has arisen for a PE specialist to join Hampton Vale Primary Academy. The successful candidate will be someone who is passionate about sports and physical education, teaching sessions which promote learning through movement to all age groups from Nursery to Year 6. They will be a role model that will inspire and empower children. The apprentice will organise and run school clubs and accompany teams to sporting fixtures, develop and maintain effective relationships with other staff, parents and carers and attend relevant meetings as directed to by the senior leader for creative and physical development.

What will the apprentice be doing?
- Supporting and delivering PE and physical activity in school
- Organise and run school clubs and accompany teams to sporting fixtures
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with other staff, parents and carers
- Attend relevant meetings as directed to by the senior leader for creative and physical development
- Accompany staff and pupils on visits, trips and out-of-school activities as required
- Recognise own strengths and areas of expertise and ensure CPD is in place to develop this
- Be aware of and comply with policies and procedures, e.g. child protection, internet safety, health, safety, security, confidentiality and data protection, reporting all concerns to an appropriate person

On successful completion of the course you will acheive the Sport Coach Level 4 standard apprenticeship
The training during the course will be weekly by knowledge and experienced inspire+ tutors in Stamford.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Successful apprentices will have the options to progress to university or move to work within PE, coaching in schools/community settings.
