What will the apprentice be doing?

You will ensure children are cared for in a safe environment and you must have the ability to work across all the age groups planning and delivering a varied and engaging activity programme. It will be your role to provide the very best experience for the children in your care.

We provide childcare for children aged 0 - 5 years old and follow the Curiosity Approach.

You will bedoing this by:

  • Creating bonds with the children and families of Rosie’s
  • Doing handovers
  • Creating EyFs activities and completing observations on
    the children
  • Helping at meal times

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

You will achieve an Early Years Practitioner Apprenticeship level 2 via a work mentor and college weekly attendance.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Progress through Rosie’s, room leader, SENCo etc
Alternatively take the qualification to any other nursery
