What will the apprentice be doing?

As a Vehicle Service Advisor, you will develop the ability to interpret customer and business needs using technology and resources to deliver first-class customer service. The role of a Service Advisor typically involves:

  • Interpreting customer concerns and liaising with technicians
  • Booking vehicle services
  • Using appropriate technology to meet the customer’s needs
  • Liaising with customers about any additional work required
  • Handling customer requests and complaints
  • Estimating time and costs of repairs
  • Tracking the vehicle through the workshop

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

The programme typically lasts for 14-months, and you’ll achieve a nationally recognised qualification. 

We will support you to gain your Functional Skills if you require them in maths and English.

All of our apprentices are employed through the dealer network and attend week-long block training at our state-of-the-art training centre in Coventry.

Block training is complemented by a combination of regular coaching visits from one of our experienced coaches as well as virtual classroom sessions and E-Learning modules.

Your development is supported through your Stellantis Apprenticeship journey, with your learning focused towards achieving a qualification recognised across the motor industry. This will provide the foundation to develop your career, as there are lots of opportunities within our expanding dealer network to progress and move into new roles once you’re qualified.

About the employer

The Motorvogue Group was established in 1993 in Northampton and was subsequently purchased in 2008 by the current Managing Directors. Our brand-new, purpose-built showroom on Bedfords Interchange Park was opened in 2015. This was followed in 2016 by the takeover of Wests Group in Bedford and Kings Lynn. 2019 saw the expansion of the Bedford branch to include the new Renault showroom and doubling the size of the Alfa Romeo and JEEP showroom. 2020 saw the opening of our Norwich branch with a second showroom opening in June 2022 for Alfa Romeo and DS. In July 2022, our fifth location opened in Bury St Edmunds.
